ISLAMIC, Seljuks. Rum. Rukn al-Din Sulayman II, AH 592-600 / AD 1196-1204. Dirham (Bronze, 31 mm, 7.31 g, 12 h), Qaysariya, AH 595 = AD 1198/9. Facing horseman, nimbate, riding to right and holding three-forked scepter; behind six-pointed star. Rev. Legend in Kufic in inner field and around. Broome 57B. Izmirlier 100. A very attractive example with an exceptionally detailed obverse. Extremely fine.
